Rose incense originated in the monasteries of the Serbian Orthodox Church on Mount Athos in Greece. This special way of making incense has also made many friends outside the Orthodox churches.

The basic ingredient of these blends is gum olibanum (frankincense) from the Tigre highlands in Ethiopia, which is specially processed. It is powdered, then mixed with oils and quickly kneaded, formed into rolls and then small pieces are cut, which are dipped in magnesia powder so that the pieces do not stick together.

These rose, violet, and nard incense are made by nuns themselves in a convent and the scent is very pleasant and pure even for sensitive people. I have therefore chosen this product. This incense is used for cleansing as well as for scenting the room, and the lovely scent is supposed to remind of the sweetness of the Holy Spirit. I love this way of connecting with the divine.
